Lydia joined AES as a Plant science student about to receive her bachelor of technology from SUNY Cobleskill. She has obtained a solid background in the natural sciences through her education. Coursework in ecology, hydrology, restoration, and plant identification, nutrition, and physiology has prepared her for the tasks related to her current position. Some of these tasks include invasive species control, reestablishment of native landscapes, and native seed collection.
Previously, Lydia has been employed at a nursery and landscaping firm where her responsibilities consisted of landscape design, plant installation, and project maintenance. In her several years there, she gained a great deal of experience in these areas while also honing her communication skills as much of her time was spent in direct contact with customers.
