Garrett Santora is a Construction and Ecosystem Restoration Supervisor for AES’ Dubuque, Iowa office. Garrett has nine years of professional ecological restoration experience including thousands of hours of implementation and construction oversight. He is an experienced team member and leader with an extensive background in managing and implementing large scale restoration projects with particular emphasis on riparian habitats, assessment of plant health as well as developing long-range plans for invasive species.
Garrett currently supervises contractors in the implementation of Iowa and Wisconsin’s Agricultural Conservations Easement Program – Wetland Reserve Easement (ACEP-WRE) (formally known as the Wetlands Reserve Program) through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) by providing construction oversight, surveying, and final approval of all procedures in wetland restoration. He is extremely well-versed in erosion and sediment control as well as terrestrial and aquatic planting. He provides daily construction oversight for project activities, as well as coordinates and communicates with multiple state and federal agencies, land owners, and contractors.
