AES Appoints New CEO/President

Steven Dischler, P.E., joins AES

Dischler-Web-NewsBrodhead, WI – Applied Ecological Services (AES) announced that Steve Dischler, P.E., has joined the company as CEO/President to further AES’ sustainable growth and development and continue AES’ vision to bring the science of ecology to all land-use decisions.

Steve is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of professional experience developing major projects as a consultant and for operating companies. He comes to AES from Quaterra Resources Inc., where he served as President, CEO, and Director. He also has experience managing capital projects and a complex portfolio of closed mine sites across the western US while at BP.

Steve Apfelbaum, AES Founder and Senior Ecologist, said, “Steve’s business acumen and industry knowledge make him an important addition to AES. I am confident he will play a key role in guiding our company and building client relationships, while applying his thoughtful, collaborative approach to complex projects.”

With his expertise in leadership, organization, and management, Steve has a proven track record of building high-performance teams and delivering superior outcomes under a wide range of settings. He has been instrumental in advancing organizational and project success by developing and managing positive relationships with management, employees, shareholders, and external stakeholders.
