Michael Crossman is a Construction Supervisor for AES’ Prior Lake, MN, office. He is responsible for supervising restoration crew members, maintaining project records, and completing work in the field, which includes all aspects of restoration work such as planting, seeding, erosion control methods, brush cutting, herbicide application, field repairs, and many other tasks. He is well-versed in erosion control, site preparation, native plant and seed installation, and prescribed fire.
Prior to AES, Michael worked for the WI Department of Natural Resources at Lakeshore State Park. There he was responsible for management and removal of invasive species using manual or chemical techniques, youth education and fishing clinics, and maintenance of natural prairie areas on the former brownfield site. Michael also worked in New Zealand, helping to plant thousands of native species, survey animals, and clear invasive species in national parks.
