Human Resources & Safety Manager

Jen Petersen is a Human Resources (HR) professional with 16 years related experience. As AES’ Human Resources and Safety Manager, Jen coordinates and administers HR policies and programs. She ensures the company is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations in addition to quality management principles and AES’ organizational objectives.

Jen’s day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting, administering benefits, processing payroll, and conducting many other HR services related to employee relations and performance and operational resources. She works closely with AES leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities. Jen also provides technical safety and health support to company personnel, develops corporate safety and health programs and objectives, coordinates safety training programs, and monitors safety and health regulations to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
